Highly premium keyboard, love every second of using it.
Switches are preference.
6/10 wireless mode
The battery life isn't that long.
You cannot charge or see our battery life during cable mode.
You need to be in wireless mode + cable attached to charge the keyboard, which takes 2 USB slots???
Big fan of iqunix
But why u still dont put the import tax included in your final price.
Awesome keyboard overall. Love the aesthetic of the clear acrylic case and keycaps. The keyboard sounds super good to type on, the pre lubed ttc ace switches feel great to type on. I'm docking a star however because of the costar stabs. They are absolute trash to work with and they spring ping really hard. Also I don't like the design I'm the top portion of the keyboard, wish it was flat. Also wish rgb was a little brighter
This keyboard is awesome. Normally not one for RGB, but the clear body makes that hard to pass up - it looks really cool and has several patterns, colors and brightness settings to scroll through (and of course, you can turn it off). I went with the TTC Speed Silver switches and really enjoy them. This thing is really sturdy and has free'd up a lot of desk space for me. I was a little wary of downsizing to an 80% board having previously had a membrane, 100% num pad board for a while. After about a week, I've gotten used to the absence of the num pad.. so unless your work or gaming requires frequent use of the num pad, I wouldn't be concerned about this board. The RGB does limit the battery life of the board, but it lasts about 2 weeks with RGB on in-use, it auto-offs when not in use and I'm completely fine charging on that cadence if I want the RGB on this frequently. I can't recommend this board enough, its the most solid, durable construction I've come across.
The keyboard is incredibly unique and I have never seen one like it. The pictures don't do it justice, in person, it's an eye-catcher. There is some case ping, but it's forgivable given how unique the board is. The build quality is like the RGB and keycaps, superb in every way. Definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a unique keyboard that gives a familiar experience!
I review keyboards on myYou Tube channel: Ro1 cubes. This is a thumbs up.
This keyboard is amazing and put to use everyday at my job as a Subaru Parts Specialist and I also get tons of compliments from coworkers and customers about how cool and different it is to the standard keyboards everyone else uses.
Looks amazing, feels great, and has a really nice sound (Cherry MX Red). Heavy, and overall great purchase!
Love it!!! The TTC Gold Pink switches are killer too!
The greatest keyboard!
Another insanely good keyboard! Only mod needed was to lube the Cherry Pinks. I really look forward to the day when Iqunix keebs are more readily available in Europe, including new/special edition keyboards.
Super great keyboard for typing, i love the ttc ace switches and the rgb looks great with this translucent plastic case. However, I could not find anywhere in the manual inside the box showing me how to use the RGB effects, I found out after about 5 minutes of playing around and holding the Fn key. I still don't know how to show battery percentage though, all i can see is the light flashes red when low and that's all i can make out. Apart from that it's a great keyboard and it shipped way faster than I ever thought it would.
Love this keyboard!!!
Best keyboard I’ve had by far, just wish they would’ve added a longer usb cord
I've been on the lookout for a clear acrylic keyboard for a long time and the OG80 fit the bill and then some. The wireless options are more useful than I thought they'd be and putting away the cables has been great. It sounds and types great out of the box and doing basic upgrades on the board has also been easy. I've swapped out the switches (it sounds really nice with Gateron Milky Yellows) and keycaps (though the angled f row isn't super with really high-profile keycaps like MT3). I was a little wary of the costar stabilizers but they're not nearly as tricky as everyone makes them out to be and sound very good, especially when compared to other keyboards right out of the box. If you want a board that's great out of the box and easy to customize, then this is for you.
I just got my OG80 today and I it's even better in person, it reminds me of the clear GB advance just with no color. I opted for the non-backlit version to save a few bucks and also because I know that usually you have to press a function combo to disable it every time if you don't want to use it. I have the L80 Formula that i have been using for a daily driver at work, but will be switching to the OG80 because i use the F row a lot and the L80 is perfect and beautiful but the OG80 is all that and gives me better access to the F row with them being angled. I will definitely be using the L80 at my home office since I don't need to use the F row like i do at work and again because I just love the look of the L80 Formula and if they every offered the OG80 in that colorway I would probably buy it and the same goes for if they ever made a L80 in the colorway or should i say lack of color of the current OG80! I only have one more keyboard that I REALLY want to try from IQUNIX which is the ZX75 but I think I will have to wait until March until they are readily available and also to build up a budget to buy it and another keyboard because even though that's the only other keyboard I REALLY want to test out right now, I also love the look of the A80 and the F96 Keyboards but keep telling myself I don't need them because the A80 is very similar to the OG80 it just turns out that I like the aesthetics of the OG80 more and it has just a few more features like connecting to more than one BT device and the On Board Storage for the USB 2.4ghz dongle for wireless connectivity. If you decide to try this board out you won't be disappointed unless your coming from a full size keyboard and don't want to teach yourself how to use the top number row.
I had been really wanting a clear/polycarb looking board so this was a nice board to fill that craving. The colorway/keycap set are awesome.
There weren't really many tactile options so I went with the cherry browns. They are ok if you like browns.
The RGB is awesome.
The only issue I had is an enormous amount of ping from the space bar and a few other keys. Like it literally echo'd. I think this is mainly due to Iqunix not adding any kind of dampening in the bottom part of the case due to its transparent nature.
I was able to virtually eliminate this with some Frog tape smattered all over the PCB. I also added U4T Boba switches and now it is amazing. Sounds amazing, feels amazing.
Nice board to play around with.
Suggestions for the future: Even though these are "entry level" pre-builds, make modding them easier. No need for all the tabs on the case, it just makes it more difficult to get into which people will ultimately want to do.
Also, for the love of god get rid of the Costars. They work just fine but just are such a pain when it comes time to change out switches.
Love the design, slanted f keys
Only think I would change would be to add a little more weight
Returned my brown switch ducky one for this, the experience is completely different when I type on the OG80. The TTC Ace switch feels smooth as butter (literally), and it thocks!! which is very pleasant to the ear. Although the Ace switch definitely feels more heavy to press (60g ), so might get tire on the fingers if I play fast rhythm games for long sessions. Overall super impressed with the typing experience.
The keyboard is really nice looking and feeling.
I like the layout and the tilted F-keys that are really easier to reach for me than on a standard keyboard. The switches it came with (TTC ACE) ar incredible smooth and also nice sounding, however, I found out, that I am still more of a tactile guy, so I swapped them, which is also super easy due to the hot swappable board.
The option to use it wireless is great, I have noticed no latency issues whatsoever (BT and 2.4Ghz) and even waking up from sleep is pretty fast.
The only complaint would be the really noisy spacebar, and the sligthly hollow sound overall.
I would recommend this keyboard to whoever asks me for a good one, specially if they want to have a great out of the box experience.
Really great product, would buy again!
I like it and would recommend it.
However, I would just like to highlight an observation where the teal? colored keys are pretty thin for some reason, so the RGB actually shine through the cap and expose the stem that's under. Just a nitpick from me, but no way is this a deal breaker.
Best Keyboard ever XD
7 days for deliver to korea
Replaced with Jungle Mystery Keycap
At the end of the hit, you will hear a metallic echo, but overall it is a good and satisfying product.
