I wish it was a little easier to disassemble this keyboard. When I first unboxed this, the spacebar and the left shift were VERY rattly and it bothered me to the point where I had to look up a YouTube tutorial to even open this up to fix the problem. Ever since I fixed the stabilizers and put just a little bit more lube on them, it has been a good experience. It is actually my loudest keyboard I own now and I love listening to it when playing CS:GO. :) 4/5
Honestly it's a great keyboard this is my first time buying one off of you guys and it was money well spent
Looks great with the whole black and white monochromatic blade runner type aesthetic I'm trying to achieve!
Super nice quality
Feels amazing to type on and sounds great too. A little hollow with the keyboard. It’s the loudest sounding key. Already looking at a another one to take with me for my laptop on the go
The keyboard is great, well built, and have a cool design which is comfortable to type on.
My only gripe is the stabs is rattling. Sucks that i spend this much and still need to fix the rattle myself. Guess they only send perfect unit to youtubers for reviews.
Absolutely love this keyboard. I've been using a very cheap keyboard for over 3 years. The sounds is muted and the perfect thonk I think everyone should be looking for. The diffused RGB on the translucent case looks AWESOME. The keyboard it self is heavy and feels extremely well built. I went with the speed silver switches and the difference between my old cherry pinks is INCREDIBLE. They create the perfect sound and feeling I was looking for. I love the fact this includes my F and arrow keys, all in a very compact kb that is shorter than most cheap 60% kb's on the market
My only 2 complaints would be the RGB single colors only has 4 selections (cyan, gold, pink and green). Additionally the wake up is a touch slow.
Overall, this keyboard is well worth the money and I would recommend this to anyone who is the market for a keyboard.
pros: board feels great, RGB is wonderful, TTC ACE switches are smooth as, latency on wireless is acceptable
cons: wake from sleep isn’t super fast, spacebar and some modifiers need a little lube, it uses costar stabilizers (meh)
Well build board, stabilizers are good, wireless performance is excellent without any delay ( included 2.4 Ghz dongle ) and battery life is fantastic.
The board sounds quit good and is hotswap but the TTC gold pink feel really smooth.
Overall 9/10 board, 100% would recommend if you're looking for a wireless keyboard in this price range.
I love how good the keyboard sounds for a pre-built and how the whole construction is high quality and doesn't feel cheap. in addition, I love its a hot swappable as well so I can try out new switches if I want. This is my second mechanical keyboard and I absolutely love it. I don't think I will be replacing it anytime soon.
This thing is great. I've had it for about 2 weeks and it sounds better than my own custom keyboard if you are looking for something to get into the hobby this is the board for you!!!
Absolutely love it!
I was quite excited to receive this keyboard due to the unique design, I especially love the angled F row. It adds a retro feel to an already intriguing design. The keyboard itself was a little bit of a disappointment though. It sounds very hollow, which wouldn’t be a big deal if I could mod it, however it’s a very risky endeavor taking this keyboard apart. So doing any case foam additions, or a silicone pour is out of the question for me because I fear snapping the plastic. The stabilizers are okay, nothing amazing but also not the worst I’ve seen. Keycaps are nice, though. I do think the legends look quite good. And as a prebuilt wireless keyboard, it isn’t a bad option by any means. I was just hoping for a little bit easier customizability because at least then I could attempt to change the sound profile and swap out the stabs or lube them. The wireless functions are great, probably my favorite aspect of the board. The profile of the board is also great, it’s only slightly longer than my 65%. Overall, it’s not a bad board considering the functionality. I just wish that either: the board was easier to open and mod, or, the price was lower.
I like it a lot, spacebar seems a little weak? Not sure if I can fix that?
Amazing keyboard and I love the switches
The only thing that's weird is that I have no FN keycap but I have 3 ALT keycaps instead
Really nice keyboard, love the tilted Function key row since I use it a ton for old CRPG's that need a million keybinds. Generally really happy with the board and excited to try out different keys since it is hotswappable so I can find what works best for me (I find the default ACE pink's need just slightly too little pressure).
The original keyboard they send me sadly had issues with the wireless, but after chatting with their customer service and troubleshooting it for an hour or so and realizing it had probably got damaged in shipping, they then sent me a new replacement keyboard which so far works perfectly. Really happy with the keyboard, really happy with the customer service.
Yeah, its good.
Best non custom board I have used, built like a tank.
looks the part as well, nice retro vibe.
Second IQUNIX keyboard in one month, this is even better than F97 which is already near perfection. Best product design, best quality. Dark side must be one of the coolest design every.
Good Quality board that definitely sounds better than any razer board i’ve owned in the past. Except for the Space bar, it’s is very noisy and rattlie. Not sure if that is just what stabilizers were used or if that’s a defect with my model but overall like it and is my first real Mechanical Keyboard
This is a beautiful keyboard. The keycaps are smooth and have nice, clear legends. The bump on the up arrow is very helpful. I replaced the stock switches with Kailh Box Jades and the space bar, escape, and delete keycaps with some from the NovelKeys' Ghostbustin' set. Minus one star for no stock clicky switch options.
Great keyboard. Keycaps are nice, stabs are quiet, goldpink switches are smooth, the spacebar thunks a bit loudly for my tastes but it's still a great typing experience out of the box. Opening the case for modding could be easier if you're going that direction, but it doesn't really need it.
This keyboard is my new favorite toy; nothing I don't need and FTMP everything I wanted it to be. I love the Bluetooth "slot" design—very useful for quickly switching between work and personal computers without having to unpair. I wish I could have tried out all the switches but the TTC gold pinks are smooth and pleasing to the fingers. The keycaps don't let a lot of light through so be warned.
Although not officially supported, I have had a great deal of success using this keyboard under Linux. NOTE: If you find that the F-keys don't work OOTB, this may be due to an issue with the hid_apple kernel module. Adding the line "options hid_apple fnmode=2" under /etc/modprobe.d/hid_apple.conf and updating initramfs resolved the problem for me.
The keyboard is incredibly well made, keys feel incredibly smoothe and have a hefty weight to them.
Love the keyboard design, the TTC Pink golds were nice, but I decided hand lubed Milky yellow Gaterons felt much better, LOTR Keycaps really bring it all together, I love the sound and feel of this board, and love the Battery life of this thing. Only real complaint is the plastic clips for modding, but its not meant for that, therefore I cannot reduce the 5 star review. Definitely buy the OG80 if you love oldschool looking tech, with new school features.
This is the 3rd OG80 that I've purchased so that should tell you everything. Two reasons why I didn't give this 5 stars: The first was because I initially had some trouble with the switch on the bottom. The second reason was because this keyboard wasn't available in any switches that were really clicky, so I'm either going to have to deal with it or shell out another 60-100 buck for the switches I want. Otherwise this is a pretty solid keyboard.
The board is great. Im not sure of the durability when use the hotswap function becuase I bought new switches for the board and one of the housings where the switch prong goes was broken so there is on key on the board that is not working. But all and all the board the new keycaps are great and i love them. just wish it didnt break
Happy with the look of this board. It works well paired with Bluetooth and wired, but for some reason the 2.4ghz dongle I got doesn’t work. When I tried to pair, the pink LED does come on but no matter how much I tried it does not connect. Now, there are even occasions where it doesn’t respond to Fn+4 even (no blinking pink LED).
Best typing experience I've had.
Really liked it, my only issue was that out of the box the space bar had some rattling on the right stabilizer.
love the style of the keyboard and it sounds amazing!
Bought the keyboard and didn't 100% love it, but the company refused to accept a return or refund my money; apparently they don't stand behind their products. Buy somewhere else!
Excellent board! Absolutely enhanced my typing ability as it’s super easy to type with this new keyboard. The look is super cool with the frosted black polycarbonate case. The RGB is very solid and very vibrant! I’m very pleased!
The aesthetics alone make this little guy great, with the faux retro styling and the tilted function row. However, the hot swappable switches, handy backlighting, and multiple wireless connection options really seal the deal.
The wireless is flawless, and this is the only keyboard I've found that connects as flawlessly and without delay as my Logitech G915. Build quality is really good, and it has a fair amount of weight to it.
All in all, really happy with my purchase. Highly recommended!
Worth buying, the feel and the sound of the keyboard is amazing.
Beautiful, high quality, and a joy to use!
Instructions are poor. Bluetooth connector not in the box
Like the board but disappointed I didn’t get the extra red key cap or anything like the other og80 does
Shipped fast. Very nice keyboard
I love the layout of the keyboard, the TTC ACE are pretty nice stock, but even better lubed.
This is easily the best keyboard I’ve ever purchased. I’ve owned Ducky, Drop, Logitech, and Razr. Basically, you name it I’ve probably had it. This board provides the quality of a custom build without the headache or price tag. Highly recommend it! Thank you for the smooth transaction!
Amazing, best keyboard I’ve bought. Feels nice, amazing LEDs and sound.
Best keyboard I've purchased by far. Sounds incredible out of the box. Might mod the stabs but that's it.
One of my favorite keyboard purchases I have ever made! It has a great sound right out of the box, so minimal mods are needed. The only gripe I have is that the stabilizers are a bit loud and have a hollow sound to them. Nothing a quick mod can't fix though! I absolutely love the raised function keys! I would definitely recommend this keyboard!
Probably THE best pre-built keyboard I've ever purchased. So good I bought my wife one. Would definitely purchase again.
This keyboard is amazing to type on. It feels super high quality and heavy. The keycaps feel great. The TTC Ace paired with the cherry stabs make for a nice deeper sound.
It's a good keyboard, but sometimes it switches from wireless to wired mode on its own because the switch is on the bottom of the keyboard. Definitely a design flaw.
Another awesome keyboard! Cherry stabs too, so I can do modding...
I love the slanted F key row and the typing experience is amazing. Switches feel great and the stabilizers are the best I've had straight from the box with no mods. A lot of great Rgb choices as well. Overall 9/10
the OG80 looks so good with its RGB lights on! the TTC GoldPink switches also sounds amazing and they are so lightweight to type on. superbly impressed by the built quality!
Love the keyboard my the things that doesnt sit well is that you guys missed the opportunity to control the volumen up and down on the up and down arrow keys. sense the left and right go are previous and next.. why not make up and down control the volumen ? and the rgb be is not that bright... im not saying that the rgb is low but i feel like the max bright is not that bright.
