*Firmware and driver need to be set up on Windows 10.
This is my very first mechanical keyboard. I was pretty excited to get it and be able to switch out the key caps. But I noticed that some of my lights are defective. Sad.
This is not a keyboard for hobbyists if you’re into any kind of customization. The key profiles feel nice enough but between that and the compact design, it’s going to be nearly impossible to find keycaps to fit this model. This brand has a handful of keycap sets for sale that would fit the size but none of them are particularly inspiring. The lighting is also not customizable to the individual keys. The compact design ironically makes it look much bulkier because there is no break between the standard keys and the numpad. It just looks like a giant awkward brick. Generally a miss for me. Unfortunately, this was a gift so I am unable to return it. I am going to try dyeing the keycaps to salvage this in some way. The switches work fine and it feels ok to type on but for a prebuilt mechanical keyboard, you can find something much more aesthetically pleasing for less money.
Great typing experience. Loud enough click but not too loud. Very solid design. Love it.
Very nice keyboard. The only problem is that some buttons are springy and sound awful. Some lube can fix that.
I love it SO MUCH!! The design, colour, typing feeling, GORGEOUS! And I have 3 mechanical keyboard, but IQUNIX is ABSOLUTELY my favourite. The pink switches is quite, totally suitable at office environment. But if you are the person who enjoy typing sound, red switches would be better. The battery life is strong, I haven’t charges for almost 2 weeks, but still at 60%. Definitely worth buying, and I stop looking for others mechanical keyboard.
Finally found a keyboard that's all white! I bought the brown switches and it's not loud at all. The size is perfect for my small hands, but my fiance says it's too small for his hands.
It's a great compact tkl board. Quiet and comfortable to type on. Just need to pop the board open and lube the switches to make it a 10/10.
I was looking far and wide for a compact keyboard with full number pad support. I landed on this over a YouTube video and this ‘KAT’ edition really caught my eye. The build is solid and the PBT caps are really well made. They lack any texture so the caps are really smooth to glide your finger across for touch typing. The higher profile makes it better for my larger hands to type as well. I bought this with Mx Browns and they sound really nice using this board despite them using an aluminum framing! You get little ‘twang’ that most keyboards get with this materials and overall it’s great for typing and gaming. Highly recommend. (Also RGB and Bluetooth is a great touch for my MacBook/ Multiple Devices)
Amazing! In my opinion the best prebuilt keyboard you can buy! Build quality, sound, and stabilizers are all phenomenal. My only complaints would be that there is no per key RGB customization, and when you’re in a quiet room there is a very faint metal twanging noise, but with my pc fans running I couldn’t hear it if I tried.
Perfect!!! I went for this keyboard rather than a pink keyboard because I wanted to be able to take it to work if needed. Very versatile. Easy to transition between my Dell work computer and my pink iMac at home. Excellent battery life and I run the RBG lights 24/7.
Awesome keyboard - the best tech purchase I have ever made. I procrastinated on buying it due to the price, however it is worth every cent. Great quality, great customer service, amazing product - I highly recommend and will be buying other items in the future. I have told all my friends about how much I love my new keyboard - best purchase of 2021!
truly the best keyboard i’ve ever purchased, i love the different color settings and the switches are great!
Such a solid keyboard! Feels good using it with not logs when using the wireless and is easy to toggle between Bluetooth devices
Love it! Super glad I went with the KAT keys. Easy Bluetooth connection, great quality and a clean design. Overall very happy with the keyboard :-)
There is too much plastic on plastic friction, sounds horrible. There are resonating metal sounds. The rgb is not fully visible due to the design of keyboard. Getting new keycaps, lubing the switches and stabilising whatever makes that horrible stiff metal sound
I love the keyboard . I’ve got a lot of compliments on this keyboard. It looks slick and easy to press on the buttons.
Looks AMAZING. High quality sound and feel. I got mine with Cherry Red switches and they work great. There is a minor metallic echo sound (kind of like a spring sound when you press some of the keys). Also, the bluetooth seems to drop out when I haven't pressed a key in a while, and then it quickly reconnects. Not much of an issue but can be a hassle when gaming. Don't know whether that's an issue with my computers bluetooth or the keyboard itself but I connect the cable when I'm gaming.
Solid and Superb build quality!
This is my second iqunix keyboard! These are simply the best keyboards. The thick KAT key caps of this model is just incredible! Highly recommended!!!
Awesome! I love the brown switches, the Kat keycaps, and the white makes it a perfect sleek desktop keyboard to round out my workspace.
The Keyboard is built very well. I am having a few issues though. I have tried everything to get the keyboard to connect via Bluetooth but it isn’t working. The “Q” button also sticks. Once I get that fixed, I would say this is my favorite keyboard.
This things reeks quality! So easy to use keyboard....love the color schemes....worth every Penney!
this keyboard is OK i think. I've been debating purchasing this keyboard for almost 1 year and now that I have it in my hands I regret not going for the Leopold FC980M, another compact 98% kb. this compact layout leads to a lot more typing errors since there isn't any space between key groups. regardless, it's a nice keyboard, battery and bt work well enough, not worth 200USD. num lock does not have an indication light. keycaps aren't the best but also not the worst.
First, I have to give you all credit for the customer service I received. The first board I received the FN key was not working, and after going back with customer service you guys sent me a completely new board and works flawlessly. The actual board itself I really like for it's smaller footprint, and I like the clean aesthetics of the all white KAT keyboard. The 96% format takes some getting used to, but it saves quite a bit desktop space to work with. I went with pink switches on mine, and I like these for work. I have another keyboard with brown switches, and people know when I'm typing on that one. The RGB adds a nice aesthetic, but I added that feature on for working in low light. I have done some gaming with this board, but not sure the KAT keycaps are quite ideal for it and that's what my other keyboard is for. Overall, I love the board, and I really appreciate the service I received.
Hoi Shan P.
Well built! Love it so much!!
Awesome keyboard out of the box. Super sturdy and I love that it's a very compact full keyboard (it's just 1cm larger than the TKL I used previously). The keycaps are super pleasant too and I really like the typing experience.
Without doubt, the best keyboard I've ever owned.
This is the ideal keyboard for me. Simple and minimum, no unnecessary stuff but has decent RGB lighting. If you don't want keyboards to take much space but you still need function keys and keypads, this is the best choice.
The design of my keyboard is great, keycaps are high quality, switches are what's expected from cherry reds, stabs came out of the box in good shape but the one major flaw is that I regularly experience ghosting and stuck keys when typing. At times it makes using the keyboard so frustrating I switch back to my Logitech.
The keyboard flourish my daily life indeed. Thank you do much. KK
Just received mine and I love the clean look! Good quality and solid built. Bluetooth and USB connect are both work fine. Highly recommended!
I like the keyboard, I've been getting some RSI lately and this keyboard seems to have made an improvement to the condition which is a huge benefit. I did find this keyboard too white and struggled to find keys at times as I'm used to a less compact keyboard. I ended up buying the Coral Keys to improve the visability of the keyboard. I also added o rings as I found the keyboard to be loud. Overall I like the keyboard but I should have just bought the Coral keyboard to begin with and selected quieter switches but thats my fault.
Very pleased with the build, sound of the typing is just fantastic. Love the combination of esthetics and function.
Pros: -Not as loud as my Corsair with Cherry Reds. -Simple layout and perfect size -Beautiful lights -Heavy and durable Cons: -G key switch sticks -Cannot get my Bluetooth function to work. Overall, would recommend.
The keyboard is so nice and high quality! The switches and keycaps themselves feel great. Even without the bluetooth option, I’m able to connect it to my iPad through the usb-c port. I love it and have already recommended keyboards and keycaps from this company to friends!
-1 star because its not wireless as advertised, its a Bluetooth. Every time I shut down the computer and turn it back on you have to connect it again! It doesn't recognize device #1 after a long time off. Its too much hustle. -1 star because you cannot use the app while in Bluetooth mode. You have to connect the cable and switch to wired mode to open the app. Another pain in the ass. Also the brightness is very very low compare to Razer keyboard even at the MAX bright. In low is even worse, its like there is no lightning at all. I did not like the lightning. It could have been a 2 stars review but I feel that it doesn’t deserve it. I tried to update the firmware in Bluetooth and wired mode and it pop up a error message. Couldn’t proceed to update. Overall feel great, soft touch feeling, silent. Very sturdy, well build, high quality material. But definitely still have lot of room for improvement. Improve the connectivity issue and the lightning.
Great keyboard. Feels very sturdy and well made!
After the Cherry Pink F96 KAT keyboard was back in stock, I ordered it immediately and I was pleasantly surprised with how fast it arrived! I love my new keyboard! The make is great, good quality, sturdy and feels awesome typing everyday! I would highly recommend it to everyone looking for a good quality, long lasting keyboard.
The keyboard is sturdy and the built quality is simply amazing. The only downside found was a bit of rattle hitting the spacebar, but so far soooo goood!
Quality control on the board is sub par, some of the key caps are poor quality. The space bar is clearly bent and is very noticeable when on the keyboard however after contacting support they have denied there is anything wrong with it. There also is a loud metallic sound when pressing keys but I was told by support that ‘is normal because of the stabilisers’. Some keys also interact with outside of the case and scratch. This is a shame as I was really looking forward to this keyboard shame the quality is not very good!
it really cool
it is a good keyboard and quick delivery. the keyboard looks really nice with the black knight case. the only downside is that there is a metallic ring through the keyboard every time you press a key.
Very solid build. Arrived quickly and well packaged. It has a nice feel when typing and good sound. The lighting would be better if it came through the caps, rather than backlit. Some of the lettering on keycaps could be better quality. The comma, for example, looks like a full-stop character. Overall a nice product.
Very nice keyboard. Everything works smoothly and as expected after the first few weeks of usage.
Overall it's a great product. But I think it would be better if they can add indicators on arrow keys (like F and J keys). It's hard to track arrow keys without move your eyes from your screen to your keyboards.
Beautiful Keyboard, space saver, and bluetooth latency is basically non-existent. I love the fact that I can quickly and easily change which computer my keyboard connects too. The RGB is beautiful, and with the White KAT Keys it really makes it look so elegant. It's such a pleasure to type and I would highly recommend, if you have the time and materials, to lube the cherry switches. I have MX Browns, and after adding the lubricant, it sounds and feels 10x better than it already was. I've seen people add foam to dampen the sound even further and that also sounds really nice as well. My only gripe I have with this keyboard is that the software to customize shortcuts, RGB variation, etc. was a little difficult to find, and it is not programable through apple iOS, you have to use a PC. Definitely not a deal breaker for me because you can still select a wide range of RGB patterns and colours with just the keyboard. I mainly use a Mac on my personal time and my work computer won't authorize the software, so I had to use my brother's PC. It may seem like a lot of money, and to be honest, it is a little pricey, but I think it definitely worth the investment if you can afford it. 10/10.
Upgraded from a Das keyboard with cherry brown which lasted me over 10 years old to the F96, Love the cherry red and how well built this keyboard is
I love it! I ended up desoldering the board and replacing the stock foam with sorbothane but man, after all of the love and modification, the keyboard is amazing. I love the KAT profile keycaps, the condensed 96% layout, and the design. Highly recommended!
Keyboard feels like it is well made the key caps are nice. Slight ringing noise I presume from the metallic plate when in use, typing is still very smooth though. LEDs and their sequences are lovely. I am however having major problems with bluetooth connectivity to Windows machines. No problem on MacOS but it seems to drop the connection from Windows machines frequently on restarts and requires unpairing and pairing to restore it. Overall fairly happy though.
The board feels great, the pink switches are soft and quite, the key caps feel sturdy and the font is clean. The only issues I have is that the switches in the numb pad area feel a little different maybe those were not lubed, if factory lubing is a thing in not sure
Love the slim design ☺️
It was delivered promptly. The box and stuff were super premium feeling. Addicted to the KAT keycap profile and it's smooth-matte-y finish, quite a nice deal that it's part of this board, `they're kinda rare otherwise(?) Keyboard's a hefty heavy boi, feels very solid and stable on the desk. Wish they came in more solid plain colours, or let us choose the keycap/frame colour combo.
Great first mechanical keyboard
The keyboard feel absolutely amazing to type on. However I did expect for the keyboard to feel smooth out of the box. My keyboard sounded hollow, though I did ask and emailed the company that I wanted dampening in the keyboard. Thought the keyboard was made out of metal, the sound is different in every area of the board. Nevertheless I don’t regret purchasing this keyboard and MX MASTER mouse combo.
I owned a fair amount of kbs b4 this: alt drop, tofu, womier k66, anne pro2, discipline v2. So I was not really expecting such a high quality from a sub $200 keyboard like this one, but I was completely wrong. First, the stabs and switches are fully lubed, this makes the typing sounds and feels like high-end / premium kbs. The stabs, although weird designed, but turned out impressively stable, way more stable than the one that I have on alt drop high profile. Also, I would say the original white keycaps is super comfortable to type on, while the joker set is way cooler!! The case is heavy enough, feel very premium and high end to me. This is a big surprise from iqunix! Good job team!
Overall, this keyboard is fine. It feels more springy and cheaper than mechanicals I’ve had before which is a but disappointing. Not sure I’d recommend someone pay the price tag for this keyboard unless they really like the style and can’t live without it.
Typing feels great on this keyboard. I like the responsive and tactical feel of the brown switches. Overall, feels like a high quality keyboard build. I'm satisfied so far!
Best keyboard I’ve used
Awesome keyboard. Bought it for work but it also can be modified in the future. Lube and new key caps are on the way. Can’t wait to make it even greater!
Great Keyboard! It’s exactly what I wanted. Bluetooth works like it should, switches feel great, and the rgb is honestly pretty nice once you settle down into a light pattern that isn’t too aggressive.
Love it so much! It is very sleek and classic.
Love it so far! Total ship time from order to arrival was about 1,5 weeks so very pleased about that. The shipping info on the tracking website is just slightly delayed so the keyboard showed up earlier than I thought. The packaging was very sturdy, well packed and felt very premium. Was very pleased to see quite a lot accessories included in the box. I bought the brown switches and they feel very nice. There is a bit of key wobble though but to be honest it doesn't bother me and I barely notice it. The spacebar has slight springy '' ring" to it but it's alright. Nothing I can't fix. RGB options are PLENTY. A lot of functions, and the manual made it easy to get a feel for the necessary keys to change the RGB modes and colours etc. Manual was both in English and Chinese. So far an amazing purchase, even though it's a bit on the high price.
Love love love this keyboard!! I have limited space on my keyboard tray and this gives me more room for my mouse. I love the fact that it’s wireless so I don’t have to worry about plugging it in.

Overall, the keyboard and KAT caps are awesome! Wish that the arrow keys have some differentiation, e.g. dimples or different key texture, so they are easier to find (since the keys are all cramped together). Also, media function keys should be marked for easy access (perhaps on the front of the caps), instead of referring to the manual and trying to remember.
I love this keyboard! I have a Vortex mech keyboard which I also adore but this layout ticks all the boxes. Number pad and arrow keys are a dream when using Keyboard Maestro. The blue switches are a clicky good time too. Buy it.
I'm fairly new to the mechanical world, but this is my second keyboard after the Anne Pro 2. The build is super solid and the KAT key caps are nice and smooth and only downside is they only come in white. I'm really happy with the feel and sound. **I had to pay customs (Canada) of $23 which was annoying. Despite iQunix efforts, DHL dinged me with a "$0.47 duty" which required a $15 handing fee. Anyway...**
Love this a lot! Extremely pretty and user friendly!
I love this keyboard. Silent, yet gives you the feel of a premium mechanical keyboard. The build quality is amazing. The battery life is ridiculously amazing. The Bluetooth works out of the box to all my devices.
Purchasing Experience: The delivery to Pakistan was not through a courier and in this pandemic I couldn't trust my country's postal system. Their customer service was very helpful. I sent this to the US and from there I asked someone to send me via DHL. Keyboard: This is my first mechanical keyboard, so I don't know how the switches and keys are supposed to feel like. But right away it felt so much better than anything I have ever used. The difference is unmistakable even after using this non-stop for 4 hours. It has perfect fit and finish. I love the sound of this keyboard as well. They don't have Mac Software so I customised some settings on Windows. I have yet to explore its full programming potential. Suggestion: Please make KAT keycaps with translucent legends and some video tutorials showing clever software customisations.
The keyboard is really great. Solid, and keys were all even and aligned no noticeable flaws. Came pre-lubbed. I like it so much I bought a bag just to bring it from office to home. Because the layout of the keyboard is unique. I don’t want my brain to have to adjust between layouts after coming home from work. I’d rather get used to this one forever. Only 2 things I think can be improved. I wish there was a hotswap version for this since the rgb version doesn’t have cherry pinks available. And if there was a full layout version I would prefer it better. Since I’m a professional 3D artist, I need to use all the keys for hotkeys. I know the SLIM is exactly what I described but I don’t like it’s design. Other than that if you like the clean design of the keyboard itself, buy it. You get what you see it’s exactly what it says it is.
Worth every cent!
Very happy with my purchase overall. Just a really solid all-around keyboard. In terms of build quality, typing experience, ease-of-use, everything is just really pleasant. Bluetooth functions well and included in the box is a small USB receiver so it's compatible with PCs with no Bluetooth onboard. Personally, I really enjoy the weighty and solid spacebar. It's using Costar stabilizers so I haven't tried to open it up yet, but all the larger-than-standard keys feel well lubed and solid to use. I've got the KAT profile keycaps, so they feel a bit more sturdy with slightly thicker construction than the standard Cherry profile ones. Not much in terms of cons. Shipping took about two weeks for me to Canada so it wasn't too bad. It would be nice if there are options for non-Cherry switches, but I understand from a sales perspective. It's obviously quite pricey for a pre-built mechanical keyboard, but based on my personal experience with this hobby, the F96 is just about as good as it gets before moving onto the really expensive, custom built models.
Wonderful packaging. The keyboard is hefty. I chose the MX pink as this will be my main office driver. MX Pink does have a shorter travel and feels slightly like a membrane switch. Shipping to Australia took about 3 weeks.
Keyboard meets long awaited expectations! Shipping to the Netherland took a bit longer than expected, roughly 35 days.
I waited about two weeks for the keyboard to arrive, and it was more than worth it. The build is high quality and solid. The aesthetics are clean and satisfying. The typing experience is quite pleasurable. Coming from the standard Mac keyboard, I will say there is an adjustment period. But that is quickly fading. I would highly recommend this keyboard.
Bought this for a present for my loved one, couldn't get it in time, but ofc it`s COVID`s fault. Special shout out to Gamanchan for helping with delivery, was really nervous about that part. Keyboard itself is great, would like to buy one for me next, but need some grey+yellow /dark blue+yellow coloring (and maaaaaybe some Cyrillic layout).
I just received my keyboard, this is my first mechanical keyboard. Here is my review of shopping experience and the product. Shopping and communication: Very simple and the owner responded very fast to my questions through chat. Very pleasant. (5/5) Shipping: This is a nightmare and Covid definitely exacerbated the issue. Shipping was from China to New York City. The keyboard was shipped next day after placing the order (April22) and arrived my place on May26. There were no update from the shipping company until the last week. (0/5 but not the fault of Iqunix I guess) Packaging: Outer packaging came quite damaged, inner box was okay, the box containing the cable and the usb dongle was completely squashed inside the box but not damaged. The manual was not included so I had to google from other reviewers on how to pair. (3/5) Keyboard: The keyboard is heavy and sturdy. I don't have any complains about the keys, I don't think it wobbles but I don't have anything else to compare to. I do wonder if the white keys will turn yellow on the long run. A few notes on cosmetic blemishes. Num 5 key has a small light smudge on it cannot get rid of; the left CTRL key has a small chip on the edge; all bottom row key to the right of the space bar have visible mold mark on the side facing you; the left corner of the upper frame piece has several white scratch marks. All of these are more pronounced when looking at certain angles and don't really show up on camera. (4/5) Software: Mine is not LED so I only install the software to install the driver. Windows cannot find the right driver for the USB dongle, It has error Code 10 and I still cannot resolve it. That being said, the keyboard initially paired and had stability issues (blinking green light every few seconds). But it seems to resolved itself out after a while (I don't know what happened). The connection is fine...for now. I don't know how to check battery level, is it possible? The reading from windows doesn't look accurate as it is still 100% after I use it for a few hours. (3/5) Typing experience: It feels great! I still have to get used to the layout of the keyboard as I have a hard time finding the arrow keys. I am used to a low-profile keyboard, so the higher profile of the keyboard strains my wrist a bit, might need to use a wrist rest. But I think these will just take a little time to get used to. (5/5) Personal recommendation: The color scheme of this keyboard is almost identical as the Apple's magic keyboard. I personally would like a darker gun metal frame or even black as an option. But the overall experience with the keyboard is great so far if the bluetooth stays stable!! :)
It feels great to type on and the design looks good.
We are a family of concert pianists and musicians. We are very picky about anything that touches our finger tips. F96 is Real quality. It feels substantial right out of the box. The KAT profile with Cherry red is my new love, so now this keyboard is my new full time driver. The only thing I wish for is more keycap options. For example, I want the arrow keys to stand out more in my peripheral vision. Like a different color. But Especially for sharing F96 with my 65-year-old mom, who really needs to see the Mac keys layout. She loves typing on it too! Overall, my concert pianist fingers love
Awesome keyboard!!! So clean and so solidly built! Shipped the same day - within hours and got to the states in under a week! AMAZING!
This is a really great keyboard. Customer service was also fantastic. Thanks so much!
This is the second Keyboard I’ve purchased from Iqunix and I’m even more impressed the second time around. Build quality, functionality, presentation, and customer service have been outstanding. If you’re on the fence about purchasing any of the keyboards on offer I can guarantee you’ll love it.
It is working fine! Bluetooth is ok. The keycaps are of good quality. No complaint except the part where I saw in Taehatypes that his unit had dampener and mine does not :( Since I have small hands, I think I will order the cherry profile caps instead. If you do not plan on tinkering, it will be a one and done investment keyboard! But if you don’t, maybe it will be easier to get keyboard that has hotswappable PCB instead. The strength of this keyboard is no question the build quality! So heavy and nicely finished.
Straight up the best keyboard I ever owned. Keycaps combined with brown cherry switches feels great. Special thanks for a custom build - black F96 aluminum base + white KAT keycaps looks hella good.
Quality of the board itself is great, and using it while wired is awesome. However Bluetooth connection has a little lag and at times it's almost as if a key is stuck down and you will get 5-6 characters entered even with only 1 keypress. I've updated everything, check all settings etc, this is only an issue while on bluetooth.
I love this keyboard, the customer service has been fantastic and I appreciate them making a custom keyboard out of the black version of the F96 and the KAT one. Right from the get go it feels premium when you open the box and the keyboard itself is the most solid thing on my desk. The modifiers sound amazing, they are all consistent and have barely any wobble to them. Being from the UK, I'm trying to get used to the ANSI layout since I'm very much used to the larger enter button on every other keyboard I use at home and university. But it is worth it. The only complains I have is that the cherry brown keycaps feel a little scratchy, but I'm not sure if that's to do with the fact that I've only ever used cherry reds and the tactile bump is something I am still getting used to. There is also a small amount of resonance from the middle keys. It's noticeable and would be nice if they felt as nice as the modifiers. The wireless performance has been great with both my Mac and windows PC, although I use it wired for my PC. The RGB is extremely smooth and vibrant with a decent amount of customisation available on the board or through the hard to find software. Other than those complaints, I can tell that this is not going anywhere from my desk and I absolutely recommend this keyboard if you're like me and really need a number pad and an elegant keyboard in one. Coming from a corsair K95 to this, its night and day. I hope this layout spreads around like 60% has been doing.
